You see, last year, I spent Thanksgiving with her family and with servicemen (my nephew’s shipmates) who couldn’t make it home for the holiday. It was a lot of fun — and gratifying to make the men and women who service our country a home cooked mean. My niece and I talked about hosting Thanksgiving again this year for not only family, but also the servicemen.  Last year, we did made a lot of main and side dishes for our Thanksgiving buffet. To make things easier on us, I bought a couple of cheesecakes for dessert. This year, I think I want to make the desserts. After dinner, I thought about what I should make and my Pumpkin Dump Cake came to mind. I haven’t made this recipe in years. So, I thought I would make it tonight to make sure it’s still as good as I remember. If it all works out, I’ll post the full recipe on my blog tomorrow.
